PSI Library Loan Policies
The PSI Library has over 23,000 books, magazines, and audiovisual materials that we share as a community. With the exception of the reference collection, all of our resources are available for borrowing, although different students have different loan limitations. All library materials are available free of charge.
The normal loan period is two weeks; this can be extended twice giving a total of 6 weeks maximum loan before the book has to be returned to the library. Loan limitations are flexible at the discretion of the library staff and can be increased if a student is involved in a particular project or unit of inquiry. The library reserves the right to recall any book or item if it is needed within the school for a particular unit or lesson. Students may return their books before the two weeks due date and check out new books.
All textbooks and library books must be returned to the school at the end of the school year or when the student leaves the school. If any library materials are lost or damaged, the student and their family are responsible for the replacement cost.
